No jewellery unless they hold sentimental value
I was just typing my long "Dear Santa" wish list when I remembered that one type of material possession I don't fancy is jewellery, except in two cases. One is any special occasion when looking one's best is an objective. Another is when the piece of jewellery holds special meaning or sentimental value. I wear earrings only to entertain, in an easy-going way, that impulse act of having my ears pierced when I was fifteen. Rocks, stones and gems. Metals and their alloys. Pearls, shells and corals. Porcelain, wood and paper beads. So many things people adorn themselves with. So heavy. I'd like to feel free and light, ready to take off any moment. That seems to me such an invincible feeling.Good night, world.
